1. Who we are
These terms cover the virtual private servers sold by VYQ at VYQ.au. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. What you are buying
A virtual private server on shared physical hardware, billed in advance for the term shown on your invoice. Resources are as described on the plan you chose.
3. Payment and renewal
Invoices are issued 14 days before the term ends and are due on the date the new term begins. If an invoice is unpaid, the server is suspended 1 day after the due date and deleted 3 days after it, along with everything on it.
Suspension is reversible: paying the invoice restores the server as it was. Deletion is not.
4. What you may not do
- Anything unlawful where you are, where we are, or where the server is
- Sending unsolicited bulk email
- Attacking, scanning or disrupting other networks
- Reselling the service without asking us first
5. Backups
We do not take backups and customers are encouraged to backup their own data on their own devices.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
7. Cancelling
You may cancel at any time. Service continues to the end of the term you have paid for, and is not refunded except as set out in our refund policy.
8. Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced by email to the address on your account at least 30 days before they take effect.
